On November 3, students honored Día de los Muertos with a beautiful performance filled with culture, music, and tradition. The student performance featured mariachi and dance, making it a truly special celebration. 

The Division 1 Boys Basketball Championship was one to remember! Roskruge Bilingual Magnet K-8 came out on top after a hard-fought battle against Gridley Middle School. Huge shoutout to both teams for their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the season!

Roskruge Bilungual K-8 celebrated Mexican Independence Day with the annual September 16 assembly, featuring a vibrant performance by the mariachi and folklorico groups.

Los Pumas de Roskruge Bilingual K-8 Magnet School performed during the student showcase at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference on April 24.

U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel A. Cardona visited Roskruge K-8 to discuss the benefits of dual language education in promoting bilingualism. During his visit, Secretary Cardona talked with educators and students to understand the unique challenges and successes of implementing dual language programs.

On September 13, various Tucson Unified schools and departments were represented at the annual Fiestas Patrias event at St. Philip's Plaza. Tucson High's Rayos del Sol mariachi group performed several songs while Roskruge student Natalia served as one of the event’s masters of ceremony and also performed as a solo act, and the Magnet Department hosted an informational table.
