Mexican Independence Day Assembly

U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel A. Cardona visited Roskruge K-8 to discuss the benefits of dual language education in promoting bilingualism. During his visit, Secretary Cardona talked with educators and students to understand the unique challenges and successes of implementing dual language programs.

School Photos - Fiestas Patrias
On September 13, various Tucson Unified schools and departments were represented at the annual Fiestas Patrias event at St. Philip's Plaza. Tucson High's Rayos del Sol mariachi group performed several songs while Roskruge student Natalia served as one of the event’s masters of ceremony and also performed as a solo act, and the Magnet Department hosted an informational table.
